Harlen was the First child of Abraham Lincoln and Jennie M. (Stanley) Holliday, and the Grandson of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday. On Nov./30/1902, Harlen Married Anna Jane Hollis, in Hamilton County Indiana, and together they had Six children, they were, Dorothy Margaret Holliday (Burton), Jennie Mary Holliday (Cox)-(Dodson), Maude Edra "Holly" Holliday (Dew), Bernard Kenneth Holliday, Ruth Bernice Holliday (Niehaus), and Harlen Lincoln Holliday. Harlen worked for the Railroad here in Indiana in his early life, but after becoming ill with Tuberculosis, He and his wife Anna went west because of his illness and Ended up in Tucumcari New Mexico. Harlen died early in his life, at 32 years old in Tucumcari New Mexico, and was buried there on his homesteaded land. Anna came back to Indiana after the death of Harlen, and lived in the Hamilton County area until her death in 1931.
