Maurice H. Brown,92,died this morning at the Brethren Home in Cross Keys where he had been a guest for the past two and a half years.
Born in Adams County, he was the son of the late William and Eleanore (Crouse) Brown, His wife Anna (Staley) Brown died in 1969,
He was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Hanover, The Hanover Eagles and the Hanover Home Association where he was a life member.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs.Charles(Ruth) Alwine of Hanover, Mrs. Laura Miller of Hanover, Three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St. Hanover. His Pastor Rev Carl Folk will officiate, Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
