Hope graduated from Marietta High School in 1941 and married Delmer E. "Ted" Addlesburger on August 9, 1941. They resided in Reno until 1958 when they and their four children moved to a farm at Beverly where she took great interest in the farm and animals and continued to be a homemaker.

She was a member of Lowell Christian Church, and in her youth, she was a soloist at Reno Christian Church and a student at Sandhill School. Her final years were spent with her children and her caregiver, Shirley Jones, in Tuppers Plains.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Perry, Clifford, Paul, Richard and Howard; stepmothers and stepsisters; and great granddaughter, Caroline Addlesburger.

Surviving are her children; 9 grandchildren and two step grandsons; 13 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren; two great great grandsons; and sister-in-law Ruby Parker.

Funeral services were held on Mon., Oct. 24, at 11:00 a.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Valley Cemetery at East Lawn Memorial Park.
