Brother of Perry, Clifford, Richard, Paul & Dolores Lane.
Howard was only two years old when, unbeknownst to two older brothers, he followed them to "the crick" behind their house in Reno where they had gone to fish. Howard fell into the Little Muskingum River just above the Reno bridge and drowned.
The story goes that their father had a Case grand piano and would put Howard on top of it to "dance" while he played, but after Howard's death, Anna was so distraught that she smashed up the piano and made a table out of it.
No stone found. (Several no longer legible.)
