Greene, Stewart West, 83, Rt. 2, Friendsville, died Tuesday evening at the family home. He was a member of Light Pink Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife Parylee Greene.
Survivors include: sons, Stewart, Leonard, West Jr., and Edward Greene of Friendsville, Glenn of Sevierville, Howard of Knoxville; daughters, Helen of Friendsville, Nellie of Maryville, Lillie of Townsend, and Jean of Louisville; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph of Maryville, Maynard of Sevierville, Cecil of Louisville, Alvin of Madisonville, Ray, Frank and Arlie all of North Carolina; step-sisters; Dorothy Powers, Mabel White, both of Maryville; step-brothers, Tommy, Fred, Raymond, and Robert England.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harrell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Caldwell and Rev. Lee Fuller officiating. Interment in Zion Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
