Margaret A. Peterson was born Oct. 27, 1909, to Nels and Hilda (Peterson) Peterson in Clearbrook, Minn.

She had lived in Texas, Minnesota and Canada. She did missionary work for the Lutheran Church and also worked in the dietary department of hospitals in Minnesota. She operated a bible book store in Butte, Mont., for a time.

On Aug. 14, 1950, she married Alvin P. Hundtoft in Sidney, Mont.

They came to Fremont in 1969.

Mr. Hundtoft died on Oct. 31, 1992.

Margaret moved to the Fremont Care Center in August of 1993.

Margaret A. Hundtoft, 89, of Fremont, who has relatives in Blair, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999 at the Fremont Care Center.

She was a charter member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was active in the women’s groups at the church and taught Bible school.

She is survived by three sisters-in-law, Dania Hundtoft of Blair and Lydia Hundtoft and Sena Joslin, both of Sidney, Mont., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Carl, Lloyd, Alvin and Clifford Peterson, and three sisters, Esther, Hildred and Ruth Peterson.

Memorials are suggested to St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont.
