Funeral services for Miss Hildred Sophie Peterson, who died Saturday, August 1st, at Anoka, were held Wednesday, August 5th, from the Bethsaida Lutheran Church, at Clearbrook, with Rev. S.L. Swenson officiating. Arrnagements were in charge of R.L. Halterman and interment was made in the Bethsaida Lutheran Cemetery.
Miss Hildred Sophia Peterson as born in Clearbrook August 21, 1901, and had reached an age of 34 years and 11 months. She grew to womanhood at the Peterson home in the township of Holst. She was confirmed in the Bethsaida Lutheran Church of Clearbrook on April 21, 1918, and has been a communicant member of this church since. In 1925 she was stricken with insanity and was committed to the State Hospital at Fergus Falls, later being transferred to the Anoka State Asylum. Her death came as a result of pulmonary tuberculosis.
She has been preceded in death by her mother and two sisters. Those remaining to mourn are her father and foster mother, Mr. and Mrs. N.H. Peterson of Clearbrook; the brothers, Lloyd, carl, Clifford and Alvin; a sister, Margaret, and the foster sister, Ruth. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family.
