Winters - Mrs. Joe L. Dunnam, 74, died at 12:20 p.m. Thursday in the Hall-Bennett Hospital in Big Spring following an illness of two weeks.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church of Winters with the Rev. Harry Grantz, pastor, officiating, with Rev. Pat Bullock of Big Spring assisting. Burial will be in Hylton Cemetery under direction of Spill Funeral Home.
She was born Ola Ruth Swindle on July 1, 1895 at Cleburne. She was married to Joe L. Dunnam on Dec. 18, 1910 in Paint Rock. They lived for a number of years in Blackwell, Hylton, Eliasville and Tuscola. In 1943, they moved to Winters.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Eastern Star Chapter of Winters and Winters Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Grady of Big Spring and J. T. of Franklin, La.; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Musgrove of Arlington, Mrs. Ezalina Sturdivant of Odessa, Mrs. Alvis Ray of Odessa and Mrs. Jo Ann Marshall of Big Spring; four sisters, Mrs. Frankie Edmison of Albany, Mrs. Lena Brown of Sweetwater and Mrs. Jeff Middleton of Lueders; 19 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Musgrove, Wesley McGinley, Mike Musgrove, Charles Dunnam, Tommy Dunnam and Jim Dunnam.
