Roger D. Winter, age 67, of Parrottsville, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Flora Winter; brother and sister-in-law, Mack and Wilma Winter, and brother, John Winter; sister, Anna Jo Smelcer; father-in-law and mother-in-law Austin and Mary Blazer; and brothers-in-law, Benjamin Blazer and Donald Blazer.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Sue Winter of Parrottsville; son, Shawn Winter of Parrottsville; brother, James (Sherry) Winter of Cosby; sisters, Oralee (Ronald) Conard of Parrottsville; sister-in-law, Betty Winter of Parrotsville and Diana Perkins of Bristol; brothers-in-law, Claude Smelcer and Ray Blazer of Parrottsville; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, December 14, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in St. James Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday at Manes Funeral Home prior to funeral service.
