Sarah was the daughter of John Adam & Esther (Marsh) Hill and she grew up on a family farm in Concord Township, Delaware County, OH. On September 16, 1852, Sarah was married to John Robinson in Delaware County and the couple set up residence in Concord Township. Sarah and John reportedly parented three children before Sarah's untimely death at age 29: John Adam "Ad" Robinson, Rebecca Ann Robinson, & Mary E. Robinson.
