"Mrs. Anna F. McCarty. Requiem mass for Mrs. Anna F. McCarty, 3710 Williams st., will be sung at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Annunciation Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. McCarty, widow of Edward U. McCarty, died Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. She was 65.
She was born in Wood River, Neb. in 1880, and reared and educated in Greeley, Colo. She came to Denver in 1918. She was a member of the Annunciation Altar and Rosary Society, Parent-Teacher Assn. and the Seton Guild.
She is survived by six daughters, and one son, Sister Loretta Ann, Sisters of Charity; Mrs. Myrtle Nolan, Mrs. Bernice Mannion, and Ernest McCarty, all of Denver; Mrs. Josephine Robertson, Los Angeles, Mrs. Bess Elson, Ceres, Calif., and Mrs. Genevieve Starbuck, Brighton; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Kirk, Greeley, and five brothers, Bernard A. and Edward Gates, Denver; John Gates, Idaho; Leo Gates, San Diego, and Frank Gates, Culver City, Calif., and 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren."
