"Edward U. McCarty. Edward U. McCarty, a long-time resident of Colorado, died yesterday in his home, 3710 Williams st., following a long illness. He was 73.
Born May 21, 1867, in Missouri, Mr. McCarty came to Colorado 50 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Anna, and seven children, Mrs. Josephine Reeser, Mrs. Myrtle Nolan, Mrs. Bernice Mannion and Ernest E. McCarty, all of Denver; Sister Loretta Ann of Middletown, Ohio; Mrs. Bess Elson of Modesta, Calif., and Mrs. Genevieve Starbuck of Brighton, Colo.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Spillane Mortuary."
