Linus Joseph Rupp
BUSHTON — Linus Joseph Rupp, 75, Bushton, died Monday Dec. 26, 2005. Mr. Rupp was born March 13, 1930, in Victoria. He worked in the oil fields and was a Teamster truck driver for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann, of the home; three sons. Curt and Fred, both of Bushton, and John of Greenwood, Ind.; a daughter, Jan Yanda of Gorham; two stepsons, Tim Robbins of Anchorage, Alaska, and Bill Robbins of Greeley, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Tina Sims of Bushton and Katrina Sims of Lorraine; three sisters, Olinda Schantz of Colorado Springs, Colo., Alice Wasinger of Hutchinson and Albertine Rome of Hays; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria. A private family burial will be at a later date. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at Cline's Mortuary, 4l2 Main, Victoria 67671. Memorials may be made to Via Christi-St. Francis Burn Center, Wichita, or Masses. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Friday at the mortuary.
