D.T. Youngblood
Funeral services for D.T. Youngblood, 74, who died Thrusday at Clovis High Plains Hospital will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturaday from Steed-Todd Chapel with the Rev. Harvey Hudnall officiating. Masonic graveside servies will be conducted by the Melrose Masonic Lodge 39. Interment will be in the Browning cemetery.
Mr. Youngblood was born Aug 26, 1905 in Knox County, Texas and came to the area in 1953 from Oklahoma. He operated a Shell service station on West Seventh for fifteen years and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Bessie of the home at 1208 Hinkle; two sons, John F. Youngblood, Amarillo, Texas and Ernest Youngblood of El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Edith Barron of Jamesboro, Texas and Ruth Connell of Red Oak, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Sony Stephens and Mrs. Reva Farmer both of Clovis and Mrs. Rua (sic) V. Hardcastle of Arizona; nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Youngblood, Joe Youngblood, Make Barron, Jack Germany, ellis Taylor and Butch Fowler.
Contributions may be made to the Masonic Charities of Children's Home in Portales in Mr. Youngblood's memory.
