Mr. Youngblood was born Feb. 26, 1901 in Mills County, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during both World War I and World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and Calument Masonic Lodge, number 399. He had worked for many years as a geteman at racetracks and came to this area about 15 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home in Farwell; three sisters, Mrs. Sony Stephens and Mrs. Reba (sic) Farmer both of Clovis and Mrs. Rudav (sic) Harcastle of Yuma, Arizona, and one brother Dee T. Youngblood of Clovis.
