Kathleen Dettweiler Ball

Asheville - Kathleen Virginia Dettweiler Ball, 77, passed away in Alabama on May 29, 2013. She was born in Washington DC to the late Wilbur Benjamin Dettweiler and Catherine Forrester Dettweiler. She had been a member of the Church of God, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leroy Ball.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Katrinka (David) Hipps, Telia Pergram, Heidi (Vern) Crouch, Tony Ball and Dennis (Dana) Dettweiler; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2nd from2-4PM at the Church of God, 107 State Street, Asheville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 3rd at the Church of God, with Pastor Bryant Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
