The death of Mrs. George Scholljegerdes, Sr., occurred at 5:40 a. m. Sunday, November 24, following a pulmonary embolism. She had been in ill health the past three weeks and was confined to her home in Woodville. A life long resident of Waseca county, Mrs. Scholljegerdes was born in Wilton township, June 18, 1871. Her maiden name was Caroline Mathilda Prechel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Prechel. Her marriage to George Scholljegerdes took place on March 14, 1888, in Wilton. They lived on their farm in Woodville since their marriage and were privileged to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary there two years ago last March. Surviving are her husband, four sons and four daughters as follows: Frederick S., George, Jr., and Art. S. Scholljegerdes of this community; Walter S. Of Meriden; Mrs. Velma Priem of Owatonna; Mrs. Lillian Davies and Mrs. Leona Helms of Waseca; and Mrs. Lucille Proechel of Janesville. Also surviving are the brothers and sisters: Will. Prechel of Wichita Falls, Texas; J. A. Prechel, Miss Augusta Prechel and Mrs. Henry Daehn of Waseca; Mrs. Ida Boring of Milwaukee; and Mrs. John Schmoock of Good Thunder; and 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran church in Waseca, of which the deceased was a faith¬ful member. The pastor, Rev. W. J. Pilgrim, conducted the services at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday from the home and at 2 p. m. From the church. Interment was made in Woodville cemetery. Pall bearers were Martin Lewer, Henry C. Scholljegerdes, Archie Prechel, Carroll Priem, Wallace Daehn and Harvey Scholljegerdes. Many friends and relatives from away attended the wake and funeral including the following: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Drache, Mr. and Mrs. Max Drache, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Drache, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Labahn, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scholljegerdes and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Scholljegerdes, all of Meriden; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Priem, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Priem, Mr. and Mrs. Art. Biers and daughter, Mrs. Wm. Priem, Mrs. C. R. Caspari and daughter and Mrs. Herman Beede, all of Owatonna; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Proechel and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Proechel and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grams, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Storjohann, Mr. and Mrs. John Storjohann, Mrs. Fred. Proechel and Chester Proechel, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Priem, all of Janesville; Will. Prechel of Wichita Falls, Texas; Mrs. Ida Boring of Milwaukee; Misses Dorothea and Florence Scholljegerdes of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. John Schmoock of Good Thunder; Mrs. Wm.
