William and Pauline were farmers, and lived on the Kunkel farm in Priddy for several years. After the Kunkel farms were divided between the ten remaining chidren, Pauline and William drew a place near Wichita Falls, Texas. Not wanting to live at Wichita Falls, they bought a farm eight miles east of Priddy. William had traveled with his brother over most of the United States before he married. and therefore, could you anthing you wanted to know about the States.
After traveling the states, he came to Priddy and went to work for the Kunkel family, and later married their daughter, Pauline.
