Lawrence George was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Aug. 4, 1902 and had a younger brother Lester. His parents were William George and Geneva Ursula (Flory) Kale.
He grew up in Cleveland and attended East Tech High School.
He appeared in the 1930 Cleveland census with his parents & brother living at 5462 State Rd. in Parma.
He married Wilma Flesher about 1934 in Cleveland. He was 41 when his only son Lawrence Allen was born in 1943. The family was living at 7703 Ivandale Ave. in Parma in 1942.
Larry worked as a lineman at Ohio Bell Telephone.
He was living at 19424 Argyle Oval in Rocky River prior to his death.
He died Sept. 29, 1957 at the age of 55 from kidney cancer in Lakewood Hospital. He is buried at Lakewood Cemetery in Rocky River, Ohio, Sec. 9, Sec. 9, Lot 186, Grave 4, along with Wilma who passed away on Jan. 10, 1981.
