William George Kale was born on March 11, 1975 in Little Beaver, PA the 3rd of ten children of John N. & Elmira J. (Marshall) Kale. He had siblings Marshall, James, Minnie, Edith & Nina who became adults. Harry, Wilma, Anna likely died in childhood and an unnamed female was likely stillborn.
He appeared with his parents in the 1880 Unity Twp., Columbiana cnty, OH census and siblings, Arthur (9) Minnie (6), Edith (3) and Marshall (1).
William was 26 when he married Geneva Flory, she was 23, on June 27, 1901 in Lakewood, OH. They were married by Pastor G. W. Huddlesto of the Detroit St. Methodist Church. They had two children listed above.
They had been married 39 years when Neva passed away on Jan. 22, 1940 at their home on State Rd. in Parma from a heart attack. He was living at the Ridgecliff Sanitarium for three years prior to he death.
William was 74 whe he passed away Aug. 11, 1949 from heart failure due to arteriosclerosis and is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, Sec. 6, lot 351, grave 2, north grave, along with his wife Neva.

Informant was son, Lawrence Kale, residing at 7703 Ivandale Ave, Parma, OH. He stated his father was born in Schuylkill County, Penna on March 11, 1875. His parents were John and Almira Kale, both born in Penna. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland on Aug. 13, 1949.
