Married first to Mary E Day, about 1900, with children Ethel M Wynn and Richard N Wynn.

Married second Mary Magdalena Smith (daughter of George E Smith and Mary Magdalena Holzinger), 1909, with children Richard John Wynn, Mary M Wynn and Josephine Frances Wynn.

Peoria Journal Star, Peoria, IL, 05-03-1950:

Richard Wynn, 82, a resident of St. Joseph's home the past two years, died there at 1:45 this morning. He had lived in Peoria 60 years.

Son of Richard and Margaret Costello Wynn, he was born in Marshall County, Aug. 21, 1867, and married Miss Lena Smith here in 1909. Mr Wynn was a member of the Catholic Church, and had been a salesman in former years.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs George M Drake, Peoria; Mrs Ethel Thompson, Chicago; and Mrs Josephine Blum, San Diego, and one son, Richard J Wynn, Peoria.

Funeral services are set for 8:30 am Friday at the Borland Mortuary and at St. Joseph's home chapel at 9. Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 pm, Thursday and the Rosary will be recited at 8 pm.
