On the 24 October 1893, Otto married Tirzah Olive Stephens (1873-1967), the daughter of Thomas Prigmore Stephens (1830-1910) and Anna Elizabeth Thornton (1842-1925), in Klickitat, Klickitat Co., Washington. They had four children between 1897 and 1903: Lois Beatrice Agee (1897-1983), Althea Lucretia Agee (1899-1986), Clarence Norwood Agee (1902-1974), and Leonard Carl Agee (1903-1984).
Throughout his short life, Otto worked as a laborer, possibly in the logging industry in Oregon. He died from "congestion of the lungs" on the 10 April 1904 in Acme, Lane Co., Oregon. Where Otto Agee was buried is not presently known. His wife, Tirzah, passed away sixty-three years later on the 28 April 1967. She was buried in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
