Hello! I was born in Flint, Michigan in 1967. I am very interested in making connections with family members who are passionate about Find a Grave as a repository of family history. My parents were avid genealogists in MIchigan and did 30 years of research on our family histories. My dad is a member of the Mayflower Society and a Color Guard Commander of the Sons of the American Revolution. My mom was born in Britain and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. I have inherited extensive files on this genealogy. I am currently researching several family lines where my parents had roadblocks -- sort of picking up where they left off. I am very interested in histories of why my various family members immigrated to America. I am on 23 and Me: my ancestry breakdown is:
50% British/Irish/Scottish
35% Lithuanian / Polish
8.7% Swedish / Scandanavian
2.3% German
~4% Other NW Europe (3.3) & N. African (.4% trace)
