My mother (Patricia Joyce Osborn Holcomb - memorial ID 237934666) traced our family back to Joseph Preston Yadon (1756 - 1843) and Mary Susannah Pennybaker Yadon (1763 - 1838). While I don't share Mom's passion for genealogy, I do enjoy it and like this site for finding past relatives and preserving family history.

My main heritage on my maternal side comes from Osborn, Webb, Moulder and Harrington on my grandfather's side and Gaines, Rash, Armstrong and Freeman on my grandmother's side.

My main heritage on my paternal side comes from Hendricks (my birth surname), Ryan, Weddle and Waters on my grandfather's side and Shaw, Stroup, Connelly and Copson on my grandmother's side. I don't know this side of the family as well, as my mother and birth father divorced when I was 3, so I never met this side at an age where I can remember them.
