Bio

Hello, my name is Daniel Ames (Nichols) and I've been working with my maternal grandparents on researching and recording several different branches of our family's genealogy since roughly 2014. My grandfather was very passionate regarding history and genealogy and helped to install those passions within me from a young age. He began extensively researching and recording our family's lineage in his retirement and left me with the tools needed to continue after his passing. Some of the dominant names in my personal lineage including Garner, Nichols, Wisdom, and Block.

I also enjoy researching both my partner's and my adoptive son's genealogies, which include dominant names such as Ames, Richeson, Borgstrom, Wells, Harr, Lowery, Johnson, and Graff.

I deeply enjoy exploring local cemeteries and paying reverence to all ancestors. If you need any assistance with photography or genealogy problem-solving skills in the Pacific Northwest, please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests. Cheers!
