Mr. Elroy William Robinson age 83 of Supply passed from this life to his life in heaven with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. They saw him smile as his Lord came and carried him away to his heavenly home.

Mr. Robinson was born in Brunswick County on October 19, 1929 and was the son of the late Lewis and Ellen Hewett Robinson. He retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation after 30 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his wife of 62 Years, Etha M. Robinson; two daughters, Carol Ann Carlisle and husband James of Supply, Linda Kanoy and husband David of Supply; four precious grandchildren, Brett Fulford and wife Julie, Chris Fulford, Caroline Sauls and husband John, Jonathan Carlisle; precious great grandchild, Kailey Grace Carlisle; two sisters, Novie Galloway of Supply, Arlene Norris of Supply; half sister, Ruby Glisson of Supply.

Special thanks to all our family members for their love and support especially niece Debbie Vinson, nephew Ray Kirby and Mike and Cheryl McCumbee and family. Elroy was also blessed with special friends, Ralph Varnam and Eston Norton. Together they were the "Three Wise Men". Our family has been blessed by all of you. How can we thank our family and friends who have come and called and served us by their words of encouragement, bringing food, and praying for us? We love you and will never forget how you have loved us.

Elroy was a "Family Man". His grandchildren are so special that they have their own parking signs in front of the family kitchen. His love, devotion and selflessness were extraordinary and exampled to all of us. These acts are goals for us to reach as a tribute to him.

"Can better things be said of a man when he has passed away from us, than he loved the Lord, he loved his family and was true to self from his dawning to his dusk." Amen!

Funeral services will be held Friday November 2, 2012 at 6pm at New Life Christian Fellowship with Pastor Bobby Norton and Reverend Greg Norris officiating.

Graveside services will be Saturday November 3, 2012 at 10 am at Brunswick Memorial Gardens, Shallotte.

Pallbearers will be, Brett Fulford, Chris Fulford, Jonathan Carlisle, John Sauls, Ray Kirby, Jabin Norris.
