Valerie Jean Alcorn, 51, of Pleasant Hill, passed away July 31, 2003. Memorial services were conducted Aug. 5 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Ray Alcorn officiating. Graveside committal services were conducted Aug. 6 at the Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Alcorn was born April 30, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Raymond and Audrey Johnson.
She was a loving housewife and mother. She loved gardening, photography, hiking and animals; was a volunteer for Red Cross and Boy Scouts of America; and helped many other people in need. Valerie will truly be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Alcorn of Pleasant Hill; sons, Matthew and Shawn Alcorn of Pleasant Hill; daughter, Natalie Thomason of Pleasant Hill; parents, Ray and Audrey Johnson of Pleasant Hill; brother, Grant Johnson of Quakertown, PA; and sister, Dawn McCartt of Pleasant Hill.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
