September 3, 1903, the daughter of
George M. and Rosa (Mahoney) Stevenson
in Quimby. Her mother remarried and
she was raised by her mother and stepfather
Charles Jones. She graduated from
the Cherokee High School in 1921. She
worked as a secretary for Lester Ary,
Cherokee School Superintendent. On
November 19, 1923, Beulah married Kenneth
Charles Dagger; to this union, one
daughter, Elda, was born. Beulah worked
for Maple Valley Mutual Insurance and
for the Lockin Insurance Agency for several
years. She worked for Harry Howell
Motors in Aurelia as secretary and bookkeeper.
Beulah was a member of the Congregational
United Church of Christ,
Church Circle and was a Pythian Sister.
She enjoyed quilting and fishing.
Preceding Beulah in death were her
parents, her husband K.C. on October 8,
1963, daughter Elda Dagger Aitken on
January 9, 1985 and one sister, Ruth
Stevenson Rollenson.
