Mary Jo Chandler was born on January 15, 1932, to John F. and Jennie Elizabeth (Montgomery) Schildknecht, Chicago IL, and moved to Cassville, MO at age 19. She called Cassville her hometown! She married Kenneth W. Chandler April 15, 1950. (Gravestone says September 15, 1950).
Mary Jo is survived by daughter-in-law Margaret Chandler, sons Patrick/Jessica, Sean/Michelle, Corey/Gabe; son-in-law David Sanford, sons Aaron, Ryan/Mandy, Kyle/Mallory; great grandchildren, Peyton, Riley Chandler/Gauge, Gunnar, Landry Chandler, Colton, Carter, Candas Sanford, and Emory Ann Sanford; great-great grandchild Teagan Burlison.
Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jennie, her husband of 30 years, Kenneth W., son John Kenneth, daughter Julie Ann, brother Ralph Schildknecht and wife Martha.
Mary Jo was a member of Raytown Christian Church for sixty years. She worked at Avon Products for 22 years. She spent her retirement years in the company of her many friends, traveling and playing many games of bridge. She spent the winter months with her wonderful niece, Carol Kershner. She will be missed by the many people who loved her, but especially her grandsons and grandchildren.
Services for Mary Jo will be held at Raytown Christian Church, Raytown, MO on Monday November 14, 2022. The visitation begins at 10:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.
