Timmonsville April 30 -- William Ed Anderson, 70, prominent farmer of the Peniel Section near Timmonsville, died at his home this morning after a long illness.

Mr Anderson was a former trustiee of the Glenwood School.

Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Peniel Baptist Church, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. W B Gunter, assisted by the Rev. J. W. Truluck. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Mr Anderson is survived by his widow, Mrs Rebecca Harrington Anderson; three daughters, Mrs Dwight Yarborough, Miss Ola Anderson, and Miss Jean Anderson; three sons, Lawton, John W and Clemmons Anderson; two sisters, Mrs Jeff Kirvin and Mrs May Purvis of Timmonsville, and five grandchildren.
