Surviving are his wife Maude Fanning Sayre of Peconic; two sons, F Harold Sayre of Southold and Robert E Sayre of Peconic; two daughters, Mrs Marion Arnold of Peconic and Mrs Ray Young of Southold. Also three sisters, Mrs Stephen Meschutt and Mrs Gerald Fleet of Southampton, and Miss Geneva Sayre of Forest Hills.
