Death of Frederick Werbe.
Frederick Werbe, whose death at 2:10 o'clock yesterday afternoon was chronicled by us, was born Sept. 6, 1821, at Osterholtz, province of Hanover, Germany. He came to America in January 1848, landing at New Orleans. Mr. Werbe was married on Sept. 1, 1852, to Catherine M. Meyerholtz. Six children were born to them, two dying in infancy. The widow and four children survive him. The latter are: Elena M., wife of George F. Lotz, of this city; Charlotte E., wife of James Cordrey, of Sardima, Ind.; Carl F. Werbe, of Chicago, Ill.; Frederick C. Werbe of this city.
Funeral Monday at 3 p.m., from the residence of his son, 915 West Main Street.
