Mrs. George F. Lotz Dead
Funeral Services Will Be Conducted Wednesday Afternoon At Vails
Mrs. George F. Lotz, 84, passed away at her home, 306 west Main street, Sunday at 1:00 p.m. after five months of failing health.
A life-long resident of this city, she had made many lasting friends here through her kindly disposition. She was a member of the United Evangelical church and for 42 years she had been active in ladies' aid work in the church.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Cleve Health, living near North Madison; Fred W. Lotz, John and Miss Helen Lotz, all of this city. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. James Cordrey, at Danville, and two brothers, Charles Werbe, of this city, and Professor Fred Werbe at Fayettesville, Arkansas.
Her husband, who preceded her in death, was formerly a shoe maker, and for many years he conducted a shoe store at the Lotz home.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Vail Memorial and burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at Vails.
