He was born in Holly Hill, Kentucky on November 27, 1944 the son of the late James Wiley and Nancy (Neal) Anderson. He was a merchant for 36 years and enjoyed helping maintain the Pleasant Run Church by helping put in new floors and doing the mowing.
His parents; brothers, Hurstle Anderson, Huston Anderson, Otis Anderson, Edward Anderson, Boyd Anderson, Jeff Anderson, and Arlis Anderson; and sisters, Bernice Anderson, Geneva Vanover, and Betty Lou Kidd precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Judith Lynn (Perkins) Anderson; son, Kevin Anderson and wife, Charlotte all of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Shirley Rochelle Meadows and husband, Kenneth, and granddaughter, Hope Anderson.
