Charles W. Rose

Rose Charles W. Rose, age 79, of Bridgeport, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mr. Rose was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong resident. He was a retired firefighter for the Bridgeport Fire Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran,a member of B.A.R.F.A. and the American Legion Post 143. He was the widower of Theresa Siwicki Rose.

Survivors include one son, Johnathan Rose of Bridgeport; two sisters, Justine Pool of Arizona and Susanne Kascak of Stratford; a son-in-law, Gary Rothtock of Milford; two granddaughters, Heidi Rothrock of San Francisco and Laura Rothrock of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter,Charlene Rose Rothrock; three brothers, John, Robert and Thomas Rose;and two sisters, Helen Lindwall and Thedius Mickett.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from The Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport and at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Donations maybe made to the Bridgeport Fire Department Benevolent Assoc.
