She was born on January 25, 1924 in Almond, Arkansas and was the daughter of Chester E. and Arkie (Kerlin) Thomas. She and her husband owned a general store in Concord for over 20 years.
Faith was a very honest, straight forward person. During World War II she worked in Little Rock at the Munitions Factory. She played the piano for several decades at the Concord First Baptist Church where she was a life-long member. She loved to cook for her family, play her piano and sing, quilt and raise a vegetable and flower gardens. Her six grandchildren meant the world to her and she to them.
Survivors include three sons: Seth Brackett of Concord, Kenny Brackett and his wife, Sandy of Almond, and Rodney Bracket and his wife, Melissa also of Concord; six grandchildren: Tonya Benton, Tabetha Jefferson, Mandy Roark, Justin Brackett, Caleb Brackett, and Micah Brackett; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers: Said Thomas and his wife, Annette of Conway, Martin Thomas and his wife, Phyllis of Little Rock; a sister, Katie Jane Harmon and her husband, Charles of Bethesda; and a brother-in-law, Don Heuer and his wife, Polly of Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyndle Brackett, whom she was married to for 55 years; a sister, Carol Heuer; and a brother, Stanley Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Justin Brackett, Caleb Brackett, Micah Brackett, Bret Benton, Jay Jefferson, and Dale Roark. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Roark, Brooks Benton and Gus Brackett.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Concord First Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Williamson and John Wofford officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Banner under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
