He is survived by his wife, Annie I. Ignacio Begay; children, Shirley Watters, Ernie Begay and his wife Amy, Harrison Begay and his wife LeAnn; grandchildren, Adrian Watters and his wife Jessica, Andre Watters, Jasmine Watters and her children, Nevaeh, Maylani; Ernestine Begay, Jerrod Begay, Robert Begay, Harrison Begay Jr. and his child Anavey and Summer Begay.

Also by his siblings, Shirley Lane, Pearl Benally, Carol Manson, Yazzie Begay, Mary Bitsoie, John C. Begay, Keith Begay, Susie Gilbert, Barbara Blaser and Joe Begay.
