ANNA BEACHNER

Anna Beachner, 96, St. Paul, KS, died Friday, October 15, 1999, at the Labette County Medical Center, Parsons, KS. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 18, at the St. Francis Catholic Church, with Fr. John Zich officiating; burial in St. Francis Cemetery. The Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. and the Parish Rosary at 7 p.m. both on Sunday at the church, where the family will receive friends following the evening rosary. Memorials are suggested to the St. Francis Catholic Church.

Mrs. Beachner was the widow of Fred Beachner, founder of Beachner Seed Company and Beachner Construction Company of St. Paul.

Mr. Beachner preceded her in death on August 24, 1988. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, James F. Beachner; a grandson; two brothers; and six sisters.

Mrs. Beachner is survived by four sons, Bill Beachner and Bob Beachner, both of Erie, KS; Jerry Beachner, St. Paul, KS, and Eugene ''Corky'' Beachner, Parsons, KS; one daughter, Jane Anne Beachner, St. Paul, KS; 23 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Chris Brazil, Chanute, KS; and two sisters, Lorean Smith, Overland Park, KS, and Mary Lou Schleicher, Lenexa, KS.

Anna Brazil Beachner, 96, of St. Paul, Kansas, passed away at the Labette County Medical Center in Parsons, Ks.

The daughter of Thomas Francis "Frank" and Mary LaForge Brazil.

She married Fred Beachner on Sept. 7, 1931 at Greenbush, Ks. He passed away Aug. 24, 1988.

Mr. Beachner founded Beachner Seed Company and Beachner Construction Company. Mrs Beachner served as bookkeeper for the family businesses for many years.
