Mrs. Fleener was born on March 20, 1923 in Olney, IL to Si and Mamie (Chaney) Shriner. She married John L. Fleener on May 26, 1948 in Flora.
She was a homemaker, but in the early years she worked at Ben Franklin and the local theater. Beverly always supported her husband in his work and was a loving and caring person who loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: John Fleener; a daughter: Jean (Jim) Ferguson; three grandchildren: Tricia (Tyler) Colvin, Kim (Ryan) Street, Matt (Stephanie) Ferguson; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother (Durland Shriner).
The funeral service for Beverly Fleener was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.
