COLLEY, Pa. - Sharon Amos Singer, 50, of Colley, formerly of Pinch, W.Va., died May 17, 1997, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a long illness.
She was born in Charleston, W.Va., and was founder of the First New Baby of the Year and a member of Tombstone House Dart League, Lovelton.
Surviving: husband, Carlton; daughters, Kimberly Shearer of Cortez, Fla., Sandra Staiger of Chadds Ford, Amanda Singer of Colley; son, Carlton Jr. of Kutztown; mother, Nellie Amos of Ocean City, N.J.; sisters, Betty Holcomb and Maxine Rogers, both of Pinch, Janet Madajewski of Palermo, N.J.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Godfrey's Funeral Home, Palermo, Pa. Burial will be in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Russell P. McHenry Funeral Home, Dushore, and one hour prior to service at Godfrey's Funeral Home, Palermo.
