Mr. B. was born in Mahoning county Ohio June 13th, 1814, where he lived until the year 1869, when he with his family moved to Iowa, where he remained until August last, when he took up his residence in this city.
Mr. B. was 70 years 4 months and 27 days old at this time of his death. He was a consistent member of the German Baptist (Dunkard) church. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn the loss of a kind father and a beloved husband.
