Rexburg, Aug. 14 - Mrs. Mable Parker Stratton 73, third white child born in Rexburg, died Friday morning in a Rexburg hospital following a stroke.

She was born Jan. 14, 1886, at Rexburg to Parley P. and Rhoda Lee Parker and was married to George L. Stratton in 1904 in St. Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four children. Survivors include five sons and daughters: Ivan Stratton and Mrs. Virginia Collier, Ogden, Utah; Mrs. Gladys Evens, Shelley; Mrs. Iris Pate and Ronald Stratton, Rexburg; 17 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Melvin Parker, Ogden; George, Soap Lake, Wash.; Martin, Tacoma Wash.; Mrs. Myrtle Muir, Vern, Dewey and Hugh Parker all of Rexburg.

Services will be Monday at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall on South 5th West with Darrell Singleton presiding minister of Jehovah Witnesses conducting. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery under direction of Flamm Mortuary.
