Son of Raymond Edward Sennett and Belvia Irene Gore. Husband of Elizabeth Dorlene Thorne (m. 2 June 1962). Father of Charles Jr (Chuck) and Michael (Mike). Brother of Billy Carl and Sarah Ann.

Reverend Sennett took his own life after police began to focus in on him during their investigation into the murder-for-hire killing of his wife.
