STATESBORO -- Raymond Rawls, 75, died Dec. 11 at Heritage Inn in Statesboro. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mount Zion AME Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Laura Rawls of Statesboro; two daughters, Lollie Bell Rawls and Mary Joyce, both of Boston; nine sons, Willie James Rawls of Baton Rouge, La., Larry, Eddie, Donald and Ronald Rawls, all of Statesboro, Johnny Rawls of Lawton, Okla., Charlie, Raymond and Kenneth Rawls, all of Atlanta; seven sisters, Mattie Roberts, Retta M. Holloway, Ola Lester, Myrtle Campbell and Gloria Norton, all of Savannah, Ella M. Littles of Statesboro and Audrey Kiernan of Buffalo, N.Y.; four brothers, Joe Parrish, Freddie J. Parrish and Albert Parrish, all of Statesboro, and Samuel Parrish of Tallahassee, Fla. and a host of other relatives.
FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion AME Church, burial in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
