Brantmeyer, the second person to be killed in the Madison area, died in a Madison hospital from injuries received in a collision Sunday. He was a passenger in a machine driven by John Meadowcraft, which collided with a car operated by Clyde Call, Rockford, near the Esther Beach dance resort. Carl McConnelly, 20, a passenger of one of the machines suffered a fractured jaw and a broken arm."
