Albert Boeckler, aged 39 years and 15 months, died Thursday of last week of a complication of troubles. He had been ill about a month. The funeral was held from the home of his parents, Wm. Boeckler and wife, on East Main street, at 2 p. m. Monday Rev. L. M. Fetterolf officiating. Burial was made in P. O. S. of A. cemetery.
Deceased, although a cripple, suffering from curvature of the spine, was a great help to his aged parents, performing many of the household duties, and will be greatly missed in the home.
The following from a distance attended the funeral; Geo. Boeckler wife and two daughters, Jas. Dieter and daughter, Reading ; Mrs. Louisa Troutman, Philadelphia ; S. R. Masser, wife and son, Mrs. Abraham Swartz and two daughters. Samuel Huntzinger and son, August Swartz and wife, Ruf us Swartz and wife, Wm. Swartz and wife, Mrs. Kessler, Frank Geist and son, Hegins. Flowers were given by the following : Mrs. Louisa Troutman, spray of white roses ; Jas. Dieter, spray of pink carnations ; Mr. Mosser and wife, spray of narcissus ; George, Henry and Chas. Boeckler, spray 39 pink roses.
