Gary Wayne Baxter, 42, passed away peacefully at his home on December 11, 2000 following a long illness.
He was born in Stockton, CA on August 10, 1958 to M.E. and Glenda (Bishop) Baxter.
He attended Pajarito Elementary, Polk Middle School and graduated from Rio Grande High School. He was self-employed as a mechanic working on small engines.
Gary was preceded in death by his two brothers, Eugene and Terrence Baxter.
In addition to his parents of Albuquerque, he is survived by his grandmother, Oleta Bishop also of Albuquerque. A Memorial Service will be performed on Saturday, December 16, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at Cristo del Valle Presbyterian Church, 3907 Isleta SW.
Reverend Karen Cobb will officiate. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE is in charge of arrangements.
