RAYMOND STEFFEN

Ray Steffen, 74, of School Hill, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, at his home. He had been in ill health for several months.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in School Hill, following brief family rites at 9:45 a.m. at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf, pastor, will offiicate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Steffen was born March 3, 1908, in Green Bay, son of the late John and Ida Poppenhagen Steffen. He attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in School Hill.
He married the former Katherine Binversie Oct. 7, 1930, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and they resided in School Hill.
He was employed by the Manitowoc County Highway Department for 38 years until his retirement in 1973. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and of the Men's Club of the church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Josephine) Moss of Manitowoc; Mrs. Roman (Carol) Heinzen of St. Nazianz; five sons, Donald of Sheboygan; James, Lawrence, and Lambert of School Hill; Michael of New Holstein; 27 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Helen Reisterer of New Holstein.

Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funerald (sic) Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. The wake service will be at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
