Mrs. Theresia (sic) Schnell, 77, former School Hill resident, died Monday at Bethany Manor Home, Sheboygan, where she lived since last October.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev.
H.G. Messmer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born April 23, 1890, in the Town of Eaton, daughter of the late John and Bertha Holzer, and was married to Frank Schnell of Marshfield Jan. 21,
1911, at St. Gregory Church, St. Nazianz. The couple lived near Marshfield, farmed in the Town of Schleswig and moved to School Hill in 1954. The couple observed its golden wedding in January, 1961, and he died in May of that year.She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of the Holy Trinity parish.
Survivors are three sons, Clarence and George of rural Sheboygan and Florentine of rural Sheboygan Falls, a daughter, Mrs. Helen Dora of Sheboygan, two brothers,
Peter and Frank of Milwaukee, four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Popp of Manitowoc, Mrs. Elizabeth Haker of Chilton, Mrs. Melvin Lounbrough of Milwaukee and Mrs. Maurice LaBarree of St. Paul and five grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock this Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
