JOHN HOLZER

ST. NAZIANZ – John Holzer died at this home on the farm three miles west of the village April 9th, after an illness of three months, with cancer of the stomach.

The deceased reached the age of 60 years; he was born at St. Nazianz and united in marriage 35 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, 7 daughters and two sons, as follows: Mrs. Geo. Bruno of Silver Lake, Mrs. John Popp of Silver Lake, Mrs. Frank Schnell of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Frank Brixiu of Milwaukee, Mrs. Geo. Hacker of Valders, Ida, Erma, Frank and Peter at home. Also three brothers, Alvis and Joseph on the farm near here, Frank of Seymour, Wis., and four sisters; Mrs. Jos. Brown and Mrs. Wm. Lau of Seymour, Mrs. John Ahl of Canada and Mrs. Carl Schaller of St. Nazianz.

The funeral was held Tuesday morning with interment in St. Gregory’s cemetery.
